PANE is trying out a new activity; a writer’s workshop where a group of alums can gather to offer guidance and suggestions to an author as he or she prepares a book for (hopeful) publication. For our first attempt, we will be holding three virtual sessions in January to work with Ken Phillips ’62 to discuss his new book Governing with Purpose, Leading with Values, and Teambuilding with Engagement: For Nonprofits with a Concluding Chapter for Corporate Executives – Make a Better World, now in final draft.
Our sessions will be on Zoom at 7:00 PM on January 8, 15, and 22. Ken will be providing sections of his work for us to read and comment. This will hopefully provide us with a forum both to discuss his ideas and to engage in the writing process. Each hour will be divided into four 15 minute segments: 15 minutes of presentation followed by 15 minutes of discussion on that topic followed by the same 15 and 15 on a second topic.
The workshops will be held at 7:30 on January 8, 15, and 22. Please RSVP via Tigernet.
