PANE Annual Meeting and Dinner

PANE will hold its annual meeting Thursday November 20, 7:00 at the Buckingham Browne & Nichols School.  This event will give all interested alumni an opportunity to enjoy a dinner with fellow alums, learn about PANE and upcoming events, and most importantly, participate in a lively discussion with Boston Globe columnist Shirley Leung ’94 and reporter Claire Thornton ’19We are close to the venue's capacity for this event. If you have previously RSVP'd and can no longer attend, please let us know at princeton.alums.newengland@gmail.com.

 

What is the press’s responsibility—and capacity—to safeguard democracy when facts are contested and the stakes are high? Boston Globe columnist Shirley Leung ’94 and reporter Claire Thornton ’19 share the view from the newsroom in a fireside chat on truth-telling in turbulent times. They’ll

discuss covering Trump, the fallout at Harvard, and the pressures facing journalists today.

The community room is at the BB&N Upper School--address is 80 Gerrys Landing Road, Cambridge MA 02138. The parking lot is right in front of this building. 
To get to the Community Room: When you enter the main lobby at 80 Gerrys Landing Road, immediately turn left and you will see the community room.
