Virtual Book Talk featuring journalist-author Lisa Belkin ’82
Join in a Zoom book talk put on by three grads on Tuesday, February 6 (6pm). The webinar features author Lisa Belkin ’82, the author award-winning journalist, formerly of the New York Times, and her new work of investigative nonfiction, Genealogy of a Murder. The hour-long book talk will be hosted by Margaret Talcott’86, producer of American Ancestors’ American Inspiration author series, in partnership with Porter Square Books’ owner David Sandberg’80.

More about author Lisa Belkin, a politics major who admitted in a 2002 PAW interview that during college “she lived at the Daily Princetonian. The DP was my graduate school and John McPhee is God.” (The full interview is linked here); Lisa Belkin is an award-winning journalist and the author of narrative nonfiction books, including Show Me a Hero, made by David Simon into an HBO miniseries. Her career at the New York Times includes stints as a national correspondent, medical reporter, and contributing writer for the New York Times Magazine.
