Raquel Frisardi ’06 is hosting the next gathering of the Boston Princeton Women’s Network at her condo at 204 Arsenal Street in Watertown on Saturday, November 3.  There are four parts to this event—and you are welcome to attend some or all of them depending on your desires and schedule.  Please let us know your plans so we can accommodate the group.

Susan Kirr ’86 of Marfa, TX has had a long career in Hollywood.https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0456852/

She is the Executive Producer of the recent film, Woman Walks Ahead, starring Jessica Chastain, as a NY artist who heads west on a quest to paint a portrait of Chief Sitting Bull.   You can view the trailer here:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kFFwknK6iUI

The film can be streamed on youtube, google play and for free on Amazon Prime.  You can watch it any time that is convenient for you—or come to a screening—starting at2:30 pm at the theater at Raquel’s condo.  Let us know if you’re planning to watch the movie on November 4 in Watertown, so that we save you a seat.

At 4 pm, we will face time with Susan Kirr ’86 to hear some of the backstory of making the movie and to ask questions and discuss.

From about 4:30 to 6 pm we will have a social hour with a low-key Halloween-ish theme…Feel free to wear a wise woman (witch?!) hat—if you are in the mood…Bring your own, or a supply will be available…but, basically come as you are…So many things to talk about…current events, She Roars! And even the possibility of a book discussion group over the winter…Send us titles of books that you would love to discuss with a group of smart, interesting women and we’ll see what comes together.

Notes from Raquel on parking:  You can park anywhere in front of the building, on the street, or on the first floor of the garage. We have a call box that is perhaps the least intuitive call box I’ve ever encountered. You will dial Apt. 337 and then I can let you in. Alternatively, just text me at 781-801-5377 and I’ll come open the door. The theater is immediately to your left when you walk in through the lobby.

Nearby is an excellent restaurant for South American cuisine, La Casa de Pedro, http://lacasadepedro.com/...Interested party goers can head in that direction to continue the camaraderie and conversation...

Contact Raquel  frisardi@alumni.princeton.edu or Mary Koger ’86mkskoger@alumni.princeton.edu or both to RSVP or ask for further details.  We’d also love to hear from you with event, activity, discussion or project ideas that you’d like to share.

Hope to see you on November 3!
