Secretary Donald Rumsfeld ’54 Book Event on September 26 in Boston

Former Secretary of Defence Donald Rumsfeld '54 will share his recollections and speak on his 2011 autobiography, "Known and Unknown".

The 2011 autobiography by Donald Rumsfeld ‘54, “Known and Unknown,” exemplifies the motto “Princeton in the Nation’s Service,” as he describes an early career as a U.S. Congressman from Illinois, followed by posts in the Nixon, Ford, Reagan and George W. Bush administrations, including stints as Secretary of Defense under Ford and Bush, and a short run for President.

He will be sharing his recollections at “An Evening with Donald Rumsfeld” at the Old South Meeting House in Boston on September 26th.

Please register at http://www.wrko.com/an-evening-with-donald-rumsfeld, where $50 will buy attendance, plus a signed copy of his book.

Bill Swiggart ‘77 has proposed that we meet for a drink and nachos at 5:30 p.m. beforehand at The Elephant and Castle, 161 Devonshire St. Otherwise, doors open for the event at 6:00 p.m., and the event begins at 7:00 p.m
