I
would like to welcome you back to the Princeton Alumni Association of
New England (“PANE”) for the 2011-2012 year. PANE is a volunteer
organization run by and for alumni, students, parents, and friends of
Princeton University in the greater Boston area. Our mission is to
provide opportunities for area alumni to stay connected to one another
and the University, by being active in the community, hosting numerous
cultural, educational, and sporting activities and events, and
contributing to the life of our regional community, which is home to
well over 4,000 Princeton graduates.
PANE
is one of the largest and most active of Princeton’s alumni
organizations. Among the many activities that we sponsor throughout the
year are the following: the Snowden Mentoring program; the Tiger Tent
at the Princeton-Harvard football game; the Princeton-Harvard basketball
game post-game reception; and the Princeton Prize in Race Relations
regional awards ceremony, to name but a few.
I hope that you will take the time to explore our website, www.paneonline.org,
to learn more about the organization, as well as the programs,
activities, and events we sponsor—and to learn about ways you can become
involved. If you are already a member, I thank you for your support.
If you are not yet a member, I encourage you to join. You can join PANE
directly from our website. Annual dues are $30 ($20 for parents of
current undergraduates, $15 for members of classes before their
fifth-year reunion, and free for the classes of 2010 and 2011).
We
are excited about the coming year and hope that you become involved in
the organization. If you have any questions about PANE or wish to learn
more about how to become involved, please call me directly at
617-305-1211, or drop me an e-mail message at brian.childs@jacksonlewis.com. We look forward to seeing you soon.
Best regards,
Brian M. Childs ‘98 President
