I would like to welcome you to the Princeton Alumni Association of New England (“PANE”) for the 2012-2013 year. PANE is a volunteer organization run by and for alumni, students, parents and friends of Princeton University in the greater Boston area. Our mission is to provide opportunities for area alumni to stay connected to one another and the University, by being active in the community, hosting numerous cultural, educational, networking and sporting events, and contributing to the life of our regional community, which is home to over 4,000 Princeton graduates.
PANE is one of the largest and most active of Princeton’s alumni organizations. We sponsor a variety of social, athletic, educational, cultural, community service activities on a regular basis including: the Snowden Mentoring program; the Tiger Tent at the Princeton-Harvard football game; the Princeton-Harvard basketball game post game reception; the Princeton Prize in Race Relations regional awards ceremony; the PANE Scholarship Fund; and Princeton entry into the Boston Ivy Alumni softball league. Over the past year we started a Summer Networking series and held events such as Women’s Networking dinners, a guided tour at the MFA, a visiting professor seminar with Professor Thomas Christensen and a volunteer event with Habitat for Humanity, to name a few.
I hope that you will take the time to explore our website, www.paneonline.org,
to learn more about the organization, as well as the programs,
activities, and events we sponsor—and to learn about ways you can become
involved. If you are already a member, I thank you for your support.
If you are not yet a member, I encourage you to join. You can join PANE
directly from our website. Annual dues are $40 ($30 for parents of
current undergraduates, $25 for members of classes before their
fifth-year reunion, and free for the classes of 2011, 2012 and current students).
We are excited about the coming year and hope that you become involved in the organization. If you have any questions about PANE, wish to learn more about how to become involved or have any ideas for events or activities that support our mission, please call me directly at 781-489-5310 or drop me an email at donnaarmentano@comcast.net. We look forward to seeing you soon.
Best regards,
