TigerTalks on the Road: Blockchain and Cryptocurrency

Princeton Entrepreneurship Council and Princeton Association of New England cordially invite you to an exciting discussion featuring Princeton faculty and alumni. PEC’s signature TigerTalks series of entrepreneurially-focused panel discussions has been making special visits to select cities across the USA, and Boston is the next destination.

The panel topic is “Blockchain and Cryptocurrency: Policies, Issues, and Investment Opportunities” and features Princeton’s Ed Felten, Professor of Computer Science and Public Affairs, Director of Princeton’s Center for Information Technology Policy, and co-founder of OffChain Labs. Professor Felten is an expert on computer security and privacy issues and previously held senior posts as the Deputy U.S. Chief Technology Officer at the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy under the Obama administration and Chief Technologist, U.S. Federal Trade Commission.

Professor Felten will be joined by Dr. Sharon Goldberg *09, co-founder and CEO of Arwen, a blockchain technology company and Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Boston University; Devin Walsh ’11, Analyst at CoinFund, a cryptoasset-focused investment and research firm; and Shyam Kamadolli, Managing Partner at Applied Crypto Ventures, a venture capital firm specializing in blockchain and other cryptography-based technology investments (and sister fund of Nassau Street Ventures, a Princeton-focused venture firm at which Tom Meyer ’87 is Managing Partner).

This special TigerTalks on the Road event – including the panel discussion, audience Q&A, and networking reception – will take place on Wednesday, March 27 starting at 6:00 pm at the offices of WilmerHale in downtown Boston.
